National Parent Survey Results
9/07/10 - A new survey of 1,615 parents of children birth to three years old has been conducted for Zero to Three. It looks at questions and challenges facing parents of young children, sources of information and support to which parents turn, and factors that influence their approaches to parenting.

New Findings on the Cost of Child Abuse
4/13/10 - PFSA has completed research on the cost of child abuse. Child abuse and neglect cost Pennsylvania $3.55 billion annually—$2.11 billion a year in direct costs and $1.44 billion a year in indirect costs—according to the Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance (PFSA).

New Online Resource for Madated Reporter
2/18/10 - In addition to the many training resources that Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance (PFSA) makes available to mandated reporters in Pennsylvania, a Web-based training program is now available. The program is self-paced and includes lessons on “Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse for Mandated Reporters of Child Abuse.” For a fee (credit card required), professionals may take the program and, pending a passing grade of 70 or higher, receive credit for two training hours in child abuse and neglect.
