The Keynote Speaker on Thursday Morning is Elizabeth Vargas, Award Winning ABC News Anchor, Correspondent and Author of Between Breaths: A Memoir of Panic and Addiction. The Keynote Speaker on Friday Morning is William R. Short, MD, MPH, Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, Philadelphia, PA. The Friday Luncheon Speaker is Dr. Marlene Carson, Founder of Rahab's Hideaway, Sur-thriver of Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking and CEO of The Switch Anti-Trafficking Network, Westerville, OH.



The goal of this year’s conference is to enable healthcare professionals to promote healthier outcomes for pregnant women and families in high risk situations. The conference staff consists of professionals knowledgeable in assessing and treating the medical, legal and social impact of substance abuse. The 25th Annual Conference will enable participants to promote better outcomes for women and children exposed to High Risk Pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, Substance Use Disorder, Co-Occurring Disorders, incarceration, Opioid Use Disorder, other emerging drug trends and healthcare related issues.
